This interactive online course empowers deaf and hard of hearing youth – and youth with other communication disabilities – to build key employability and entrepreneurial skills. The course is available in five languages and was piloted with 100 young people, ensuring accessibility and relevance.

The course is structured into 10 practical modules, combining theory, reflection, and hands-on exercises:

1. Understanding the Job Market – Learn how the labour market works, discover emerging opportunities, and map your personal career path.
2. CV & Cover Letter Mastery – Create professional, accessible application documents that highlight your strengths.
3. Preparing for Interviews – Practice interview strategies, including role-play with sign-language examples, to boost your confidence.
4. Networking & Personal Branding – Build connections, present yourself authentically, and leverage online platforms like LinkedIn.
5. Introduction to Entrepreneurship – Explore entrepreneurship as a tool for independence, creativity, and community change.
6. Business Planning Basics – Turn ideas into a clear business model, identify customers, and plan for sustainability.
7. Financial Literacy for Beginners – Gain control over personal and business finances, budgeting, and pricing.
8. Soft Skills for Work & Life – Develop communication, teamwork, leadership, and self-advocacy skills.
9. Tools & Technologies for Accessible Work – Discover assistive technologies and design inclusive communication.
10. Exploring Self-Employment & Online Work – Learn to start freelancing or remote work step-by-step, from pitching to project delivery.

By completing the course, participants gain practical knowledge, digital skills, and confidence to access job opportunities, start entrepreneurial ventures, and actively participate in economic life. The course contributes to greater inclusion, independence, and employability for young people with disabilities.
